Is It Time For South Africa To Change It's Government? The Answer May NOT Shock You!
Eskom says it is currently addressing ongoing system breakdowns.
Loadshedding is currently being implemented at Stage 3 until 4 o’clock this afternoon.
The power utility says breakdowns are at 16-thousand-646 Megawatts generating capacity.
Over five-thousand megawatts out of service for planned maintenance.
In the last 24 hours, Cahora Bassa has not imported any power, and the Tutuka Power Station has kept a generating unit offline for repairs.
Eskom’s spokesperson, Daphne Mokwena, says they are working tirelessly on returning the generating units. However, South Africans have lost faith in the country's current government stating that loadshedding has been a problem for too many years under the current ANC regime. Will the ANC continue it's seeming dictatorship over South Africa by winning the upcoming 2024 National Elections? Many South Africans hope not.
Citizens are hoping to make a change to the governing party in the upcoming elections in order to decrease corruption and increase the viability of state-owned enterprises such as Eskom in 2024 and beyond.
