75% SOUTH AFRICAN YOUTH UNEMPLOYED. IS MENTAL HEALTH A CONCERN?
As we approach the end of South Africa’s chilly Youth Month, we once again would like to wish all the youth, worldwide, a very fruitful year ahead.
With that being said, we were opened to a new discussion by a South African consulting and HR Management company called Uzakhele Consulting.
The youth of South Africa witnesses testing times, even more so with the ongoing pandemic. According to reports, South Africa has recorded a heartbreaking estimate of around 75% unemployed youth in 2021.
The 'youth' margin is considered to be up to 35 years of age or so in the country. That’s pretty scary! Uzakhele Consulting has raised an important question… "How is the youth doing?" As depression, anxiety, and other mental concerns rise in the threat of poverty, is South Africa's youth really coping?
Uzakhele Consulting has engaged with its loyal followers to raise awareness about these issues that are often stigmatised and ’not cool’ to talk about.
The South African company proved that this could not be further from the truth. Many young people suffer from mental health issues and we found this mental health campaign very deep.

Remember, mental health is important to being your most productive self. To get your hustle on! So take it seriously. We certainly did after watching this film.
